All Javran® items are made in Michigan USA!

Javran began from my quest to find that elusive "perfect" camera bag, among other bags and pouches. Needless to say, I couldn’t find it. As a DIY enthusiast, I decided to try my hand at making my own. I bought a vintage domestic sewing machine and some materials, and got to work. I taught myself to make a few things, posted some pictures of the finished pieces online and they went over very well. It wasn’t long before people asked to place orders, and I obliged. I never planned to start a sewing business, it developed organically. Now Javran makes bags and gear for  photographers, gear aficionados, soldiers, defense contractors, pet lovers, moms, you name it! There's something for everyone.

So why the long turnaround? First of all, everything is made to order. Since so many different colors are offered, it would be impossible to stock every colorway of every item (there are literally millions of possible combinations of some items). The other reason for the lengthy turnaround is the big one: Javran is primarily a one-man operation "side business". Between my day job, and stay-at-home dad duties on the weekends, my sewing time is very limited. I can sometimes accommodate rush orders for special circumstances, but because my schedule is very unpredictable, I can’t always guarantee a specific date. You're welcome to inquire, though!
