RTS: Slim-Fold Wallet

These wallets are ready to ship!

Bulky wallets are a thing of the past. The Slim-Fold Wallet is very thin, yet extremely durable. It's made from either Hypalon® or HANK (depending on color),  which are fiber-reinforced synthetic rubbers. The material is waterproof and very resistant to abrasion, chemicals, heat, and UV radiation (some inflatable boats are made out of this material). The wallet features an area for bills, and multiple card slots. Hypalon/HANK is a very grippy material, which makes the wallet contents, or the wallet itself, less likely to inadvertently slide out. The logo is hand stamped so there will be variations from one wallet to the next. The country of origin mark is laser engraved.

The black wallets are made from 35 oz. HANK (High Abrasion Neoprene w/Kevlar), which is 0.95mm thick (single layer). The coyote brown and foliage green wallets are made from 16 oz. Hypalon, which is 0.55mm thick (single layer). A HANK wallet weighs 72g/2.5 oz and a Hypalon weighs 33g/1.16oz.

The MultiCam wallets are constructed from X-Pac, a very thin and durable material based on sailcloth technology. It's a laminate of 330D Cordura, black polyester X yarns for added strength, and a PET film backer. The PET does make the slots more "slippery", but some people prefer this to how grippy the HANK/Hypalon is.

For those curious, Hypalon is a DuPont product, but they stopped producing it several years ago. We stocked up and have a small amount of it in coyote brown, and foliage green but once that's gone, we will only use HANK. With that being said, these two materials are virtually indiscernible to the average person so you'll love them equally.

*Since this material has an internal structure of very fine fibers, said fibers may "pop out" over time. The components that make up the wallet are laser cut, which helps prevent fraying, but it's not guaranteed. If these stray fibers bother you, simply trim them with scissors and/or use heat to sear them. This can be done carefully with a quick pass of a small flame, like from a candle or classic lighter (not a butane torch). Use at your own risk. We can't be held liable for melted wallets or accidental fires.
