First-Line Cobra Belt

Product Description

The First-Line Cobra Belt is rigid enough to support a heavy pistol & gear, yet flexible enough to be a comfortable EDC belt. The bulk of the belt is constructed with two layers of 1.75″ MIL-SPEC nylon webbing. An optional internal stiffener is also available. This increases vertical rigidity dramatically, which eliminates crushing/roll-over when heavy gear is mounted to the belt, yet maintains longitudinal flexibility for comfort. The buckle is an AustriAlpin Cobra™ load-bearing quick-release buckle, which has a breaking strength of 2,000 lbs. To prevent fraying, the raw end of the belt is seared and shaped by hand so there are no sharp edges, then plasticized to further prevent fraying. This is a time-consuming process but the end result is worth it. You wont be disappointed!

Unless your pants have very large belt loops, you'll probably have to remove the male end of the buckle before donning or doffing the belt. Some view this as an annoyance, but many others prefer this aspect. If you have gear mounted to your belt (like a pistol), the weight of said gear wont be able to pull your belt through the belt loops when the belt is unbuckled.

These belts are sized based on your actual, measured "waist" size, NOT your pants size. For accurate sizing, don your pants then measure the circumference of your “waist” through the belt loops, and pull it as tight as you’d wear your belt. This number may or may not be the same as your pant size (it's usually larger). If you want to use this belt with an IWB holster, measure again, this time wearing your holster/pistol. With these two measurements in mind, select the size that encompasses them both.

Made in Michigan USA.
